Data Deletion

You can ask PHV TECHNOLOGIES (PVT) LTD to delete your data at any time. This page explains how, for website visitors, our customers, and businesses that connected WhatsApp through PHV Connect using Facebook / Meta login.

1. Request deletion by email

1. Email info@phvtech.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
2. Include your name, business name, and the phone number or email address linked to your data. If you connected WhatsApp, include the connected WhatsApp number.
3. Send it from the email address we have on file, or we may ask you to confirm your identity.

We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. We'll email you when it is done.

2. Remove PHV from your Facebook / Meta account

1. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
2. Find our app and choose Remove. This immediately stops our access to your Meta data.
3. To disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account, open Meta Business Settings → Accounts → WhatsApp accounts, select the account and remove PHV Technologies as a partner or connected app.

Then email us as above so we also delete the data we already hold.

3. What we delete

• Your Meta access tokens and WhatsApp account identifiers.
• Messages, media, contacts and history stored for your connected number.
• Your contact and account details, unless we must keep them.

We may keep invoices and accounting records where Sri Lankan law requires it, and copies in encrypted backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle (within 30 days). Messages already delivered to your customers' WhatsApp apps, or held by Meta, are outside our control — Meta's own policies apply to them.

4. Customers of a business using PHV Connect

If a business messaged you through PHV Connect, you can ask that business to delete your data, or email us and we will pass the request on and help carry it out.
