This policy explains what personal data PHV TECHNOLOGIES (PVT) LTD ("PHV", "we", "us") collects, why, and what choices you have. It covers our website prasanthahv.com, our software products and services, and our WhatsApp business messaging service ("PHV Connect"), which is built on the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details you send us — name, company, email address, phone number — and the content of your enquiry.
- Account and billing details when you become a customer.
When a business connects WhatsApp to PHV Connect
- Business account information shared by Meta through Embedded Signup with your permission: Meta business ID, WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, display phone number and verified business name.
- Access tokens issued by Meta so we can send and receive messages on your behalf. We store them encrypted.
- Messages and metadata sent or received through your connected number — message content, media, timestamps, delivery status — and the names and phone numbers of the people you message. If you use coexistence, contacts and recent chat history may be synced from your WhatsApp Business app once you request it.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and time — used to keep the service secure and working.
- Our public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and loads no third-party trackers.
3. How we use information
- To provide our services, including sending and receiving WhatsApp messages for the business that connected its account.
- To respond to enquiries and provide support.
- To keep our systems secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising. Data we receive from Meta platforms is used only to provide the service the business asked for, in line with Meta's Platform Terms and the WhatsApp Business terms.
4. Our role
For messages and contacts handled through PHV Connect, the business that connected its WhatsApp account decides why and how that data is used — it is the data controller, and we process the data on its instructions as a service provider. For enquiries and customer accounts with PHV, we are the controller.
5. Sharing
- Meta Platforms — messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), which Meta operates under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Payment processors — online card and wallet payments are processed by PayHere (PayHere (Pvt) Ltd) and its partner banks. We never see or store your full card details.
- Infrastructure providers that host our servers and email, bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
We do not share personal data with anyone else without permission.
6. International transfers
Our hosting providers and Meta may process data outside Sri Lanka. Where this happens we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

8. Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, encrypt Meta access tokens at rest, verify every webhook from Meta with its cryptographic signature, and limit access to personal data to the staff who need it. See our Security page.
9. Your rights
Subject to the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 of Sri Lanka and other applicable laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. If your data reached us through a business using PHV Connect, you can contact that business, or us, and we will help. See Data Deletion for how to request deletion. We reply within 30 days.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and tell customers directly about significant changes.
